As of October 30, 2018 we will no longer maintain a social media presence.

Research is emerging about how social media and extended use of electronics is detrimental to the cognitive development, social, and emotion well-being of children and adults. Statistics showing that social media and teen depression go hand in hand are alarming. We do not want to contribute to this epidemic.

The decision to discontinue our Facebook and Instagram accounts was thoughtfully made. We know that it is a radical departure from the usual practices of organizations which use social media for networking and marketing purposes. But then, that’s what Riverstone School is: A radical change from the status quo.
